“Will the chime or chime pro override my existing door chime or do I need to do something? Am installing ring doorbell and seems like chime is just plug in and pair but neighbor had to disconnect indoor house chime. Have high ceilings. Need easy.”

Didn’t disconnect my old system, it overrides the old one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can decide if you want your current doorbell chime to go off or the chime pro when someone rings your doorbell. I have used both, but currently just using the chime pro as it is a good volume.

The Ring Chime and Chime Pro both plug into a standard outlet and are connected to your wifi to provide in home notification when someone presses the doorbell button or motion is detected.
