Hi Nats. Thanks for reaching out. Ring devices can feel warm or hot to the touch when connected to a power source, which is expected behavior with any type of electronic. When it comes to extreme hot or cold temperatures outside of the published operating temperatures for a device, your device may not function normally. Once the temperature is within the operating temperature range, it should once again perform as intended. If any additional information is needed regarding your Ring question, please reach out to our Community. Ring Community is our first peer-to-peer community forum, giving our customers the ability to help one another and share their feedback and experiences directly with Ring. All the best, Nicole from Ring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve noticed it can get warm while the light is on (underneath). Is your night light enabled or disabled?
