Hello Scarymary, No, the Ring Chime does not allow two-way audio. It is solely used to broadcast motion and door ding alerts for doorbell and camera devices. You would have to use your mobile device in order to communicate with a visitor through the Ring doorbell or camera. Thank you, Alexis with Ring
