Does this devise notify you when there is motion? null

Yes it can or you can be notified just from the the ring or door bell. You can also set different chimes sounds for different location in house like me i have two different ones upper and down stairs

The chime device only makes the sound. The Ring doorbells/monitors are what detect the motion. These devices send notices to your phone and notifiy connected Chime devices to signal a sound of your choice for motion.

Yes, you can set the distance or sensitivity of the motion detector I’m the app... also has smart detection, so it doesn’t keep going off if a bird is in range.
