It is not that loud. Better to connect the doorbell with an Echo Show or other Alexa device. You can get older versions of Alexa for about the price of this chime. It is overpriced.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Ring Chime has volume control on the phone app that I use and it definitely has enough volume to be heard throughout different rooms. Initially I placed mine near the front door. My bedroom is on the opposite end of the house and I could hear the chime. Locating the chime centrally would assure the chime could be heard. I only have one Ring Doorbell. But from what I’ve read it appears more than one doorbell ringer can be paired to one chime.
