• if you want to be able to view a live feed, then no. But if you want to fully use the features (viewing previous recordings), then yes, it costs $3 a month or $30 a year

• Ring also has a RING PROTECT plan when users have multiple devices. It's $10/mo or $100/yr. It makes sense when you have 4 or more devices you want service for. The most I've installed was 12 devices for 1 user.
