- Answer I used 120 volt for mines. And i think 180 degree angle if im not mistaken. It covers a good amount of area

- Answer The ring system hs to be provided the login information to the router providing access. If the router is unchanged and the router is just picking which server to talk to, in my mind, it will not affect ring connectivity. Things that must remain the same: 1. The router 2. Router login username 3. Router login password

- Answer Hi Josh, Great question. Every function of the floodlights on your Floodlight Cam is available on your Ring App.The manual "lights" control is the control that appears above the "motion alerts" toggle on your device's main menu in the Ring app. Toggle this control to manually turn the floodlights on and off at any time. QuestionI have the worst internet in the US. Satellite internet. How important is internet speed or more importantly, how much info is transmitted to this 'cloud'? Then, could the info be stored and maintained on a home multi-terabyte hard drive without internet?

- Answer No, sorry. You need a strong internet signal. The cloud has to be uploaded on internet as well as the rings to work. You could use an internet extender or 2 , they plug in .Plug closer to your ring items.I have one in my garage, and one in the downstair near my ring doorbell. The cloud can be removed daily if you like ,just store the ones you wish to keep by * starring it.

- Answer Hi CuriousGeorge, Thanks for reaching out. Nine feet (three meters) off the ground is the optimal height to get the best range for the motion detector. With the motion detector parallel to the ground, Floodlight Cam optimized for detecting human-sized objects up to 30 feet (10 meters) away. Additionally, In order to support its robust array of features, Floodlight Cam needs to be hardwired into a standard junction box. As Floodlight Cam requires a junction box as well as wiring up live wires, it's highly recommended you hire a licensed electrician to install Floodlight Cam. - Answer No. You must use the ring app and it is not compatible with NEST. It will not work without the ring app.
