You can use the battery floodlight camera with or without a solar panel.

If you are inexperienced working with electricity and electrical wiring, we strongly encourage using a qualified electrician to do the installation work. Ring does offer battery-powered security cameras such as the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus as well. Visit our support center for more information.
