You’ll leave the light switch on at all times. Turning it off wil shut the camera off also. The light will always activate with motion and also you can turn on the light from the app. Just click on the camera and turn lights on. They’ll stay on till you turn them off that way.

In order for the Ring Floodlight Cam Plus to stay connected to your wireless network and detect motion to send notifications, the power switch would have to be toggled on 24/7.
