If wiring to a switch, turning the light switch "off" will power down the device and turning the light switch "on" will power up the device. If you’d like to control your Floodlight Cam Wired Plus lights, you can do so from the device dashboard in the Ring app or using Amazon Alexa. The floodlights on the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus are operated by passive infrared heat detection while the camera unit notifies you of movement within the camera’s field of view. As a result, the lights and camera can be controlled independently.
