“are they water proof and what is the ip rating?”

• They are "water resistant" . If you purchase the $100.00 Protect Plus Plan there will be a life time warranty, otherwise there is a one year warranty. Do not know about ip rating.

• Yes it is waterproof, and I do not know the IP range, but we did end up getting Chime Pro to help with the internet signal
