Hi. Thank you for your question today! The Ring Outdoor Cam Plus cam be powered with a Ring Quick Release Battery Pack to power without being plugged into an outlet. A Ring Quick Release Battery Pack is included with this camera if purchasing the battery option. To setup and use the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, the Ring app is required and the Ring app is supported on iPhone at iOS 17 (or higher).
