Can this be used in a window? null

No. The glass will reflective off of it and it will not work right. I tried it. I ended up putting it outside the window on a post.

Hi Beth. Thank you for your question today! The Ring Outdoor Cam (Formerly known as the Ring Stick Up Cam) is not recommended for use in a window. When a camera faces a window, the infrared lights used for night vision will reflect off the glass and back into the camera, making it difficult to see clearly. For best performance, the camera should be mounted outdoors where it can capture clear footage without interference from window reflections.
