Hi Mike. Great question! Yes, the Ring Stick Up Cam is an extremely flexible next-generation security camera that can be used both indoors and outdoors to bolster the security around your home. One of the keys to its flexibility is that the Stick Up Cam has a variety of ways it can be powered, including: powered by the Quick-Release Battery Pack alone; powered by the Quick-Release Battery together with a Ring solar panel; powered by the Quick-Release Battery together with a DC power cable and adapter; powered by a DC cable and adapter alone. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. Can also choose rechargeable battery or add a Ring solar panel to keep the battery topped off. I did a solar install in September and I have never seen the battery charge go below 96 percent. Very easy installation.
