• Hi Charging. Good question. Yes, you can connect the Ring Stick Up Cam Battery to a solar panel (sold separately) to keep your camera charged in direct sunlight. The solar panel requires direct sunlight to keep your device charged. With the Quick Release Battery Pack, though, your camera will have backup power in case you don't have enough sunlight. • Yes you can buy the solar panel to keep it fully functional. But the battery lasts a long time anyway.
