Yes. I only used the power cord to charge the camera's batteries before installation. I ordered the small solar panel to keep the battery charged after installation. Very easy process.

However, you can purchase an indoor/outdoor power adapter (sold separately) to connect the Stick Up Cam Battery to standard outlets for nonstop power.
