From reading the previous post, at that time this product was not 5G compatible, has that improved now?? Also, how would I install this outside of my garage? Is it difficult to install or to place? Will I need tools? I am not good at installing things! null

It works with my 5G wireless.
Use a drill and very small drill bit, smaller than the screws included to start a hole for the screws and the mounting plate. Then use a Phillips head adapter with the drill or a Phillips screw driver to mount the plate. The slide the camera onto the plate. Give it a go. I t can be done. I have mine sitting flat without a mount. Works well, but I need to check my setting to get feedback on my phone. My 4 year old ring also work great with the new 5G wireless.

It works fine with my phone. For installation, i’m not that Handyman was able to put it in. You might need a drill just to hang it up? You can probably make do with a screwdriver.
