  • QuestionCan The camera be mounted from the ceiling?

    • Answer No the two mounting positions are on the base/bottom of the device and the back about mid way. It doesn't auto rotate the image if you turn it upside down to mount from the bottom also there is a small track ball in the mounting piece that doesn't give much allowance in positioning it away from the wall you are mounting on.

A 2.4GHz internet connection is still needed for the Ring Stickup Camera to work as intended.     • Answer Not 24/7 only when they detect motion. You can program them to record 60, 90 and 120 seconds. If you get a subscription which is very cheap the video gets sent to the ring cloud which in return you can safe it to your device and access it whenever needed.

These devices are intended to be used with a standard 2.4 Ghz wifi connection. Although most hotspots support this, you'll want to review your data plans agreement for details.     • Answer Hello, You Will Have Issues If Placed Indoor Facing A Window Period. Reflection, Sensor Won’t Work Properly, Not A Clear Image, But Will Work For Live View But With Weak Image Cause Of The Window Or Screen.

    • Answer I believe the cams run off of wifi signal. You can check in (go to live feed, see motion alerts, recordings, etc) from your ring app on your cellphone if you're using data but the cams have to have internet I think.

    • Answer Yes, I bought the solar charger and it works with it. I don't know the range but I don't think it's great I have a router with an extender and I placed the camera on the outside of my garage side door and the router is in my living room which is a room off the garage and it says low signal many times. Hope that helps
