    Asked by Abe.

    • Answer Hello Abe, Great question! Yes, there is a spare parts kit available for the Ring Stick Up Camera Battery here: https://ring.com/products/stick-up-security-camera-mount?_pos=4&_sid=f1598379f&_ss=r. We are not positive which “adaptor” you are referring to, so here is a list of what’s included in the box with your initial purchase: What comes in the box? Ring Stick Up Cam Battery Unit Base Cover Base Pad Stand and wall mount accessories Installation tools and hardware Ring rechargeable battery and micro-USB cable for charging User manual & quick-start guide with QR code Security Sticker If you are missing the orange charging cable for your Ring Rechargeable Battery then we’d suggest purchasing this kit, that has the Ring micro USB charging cable included: https://ring.com/products/spare-parts-for-video-doorbell-v2?_pos=1&_sid=51fd1fb08&_ss=r. • QuestionHow far out will this camera pick up movement?

    Asked by Plaem.

    • Answer Hello Plaem, Ring products “see” the world through a network of three linked passive infrared (PIR) sensors. These are heat sensors that detect motion by monitoring heat within the detection area. Since people are hotter than the surrounding areas, as a person enters the detection area, the heat measurements change. The motion sensors register this change as movement and send out an alert. In addition, the PIR sensors are pointed downward to detect motion from five feet to 30 feet away, while minimizing notifications from things like traffic. This article will help you set up your Motion Zones and give you some tips in making them more effective: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022462472-Utilizing-Motion-Detection-with-your-Ring-Battery-Devices. • QuestionCan this be adjusted to an angle to catch packages at your door?

    Asked by Starr.

    • Answer Hi Starr, Good question! Yes, you can mount the Stick Up Camera Battery to get the view you want from the device. Getting the most out of your Stick Up Camera means placing it so that it captures as much as it possibly can. That's why a quick rule-of-thumb for the Stick Up Camera is that, whether you're mounting your camera indoors or outdoors, higher is usually better. Your Stick Up Camera will work fine at about eye-level, but raising it up to about nine feet (outdoors) or seven to eight feet (indoors) will work even better. You'll still be able to see faces, but your camera will be able to get a wider field of view and see more.
