    • Answer Yes, I bought the ring doorbell 4 wired/battery powered. It comes with one battery already but I bought a spare to have when I would need to charge one up. You can also attach a solar panel to the back the ring doorbell 4 to charge your battery constantly so you would not need to be swapping batteries often.

    • Answer Seek professional help because the hard wire requires low voltage. But should be no problem if replacing an existing doorbell. You don't want to damage the product with high voltage.

  • Questionwe have a ring video boor bell 4 and are looking for an extra rechargeable battery for it. The specs on this model only go up to Ring 3 plus, but I cannot find one that says it’s for the Ring 4. Will this work? If not, please tell me one that will work.

    • Answer Hello, Great question. Yes, the Ring Rechargeable battery works with the Ring Video Doorbell 4. Your Video Doorbell 4 battery is charged using a common micro-USB cable (an orange one is included in your Ring box). The micro-USB cable can be plugged into any USB power source such as a computer. Your battery will take around six to 8 hours to fully charge depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or into a wall outlet.
