“Ringdoor bell batteries problem... I have two batteries that will not charge for some reason. When plugged in, 2 lights come on and the battery never charges. Is there a a solution other than replacement?”

Both batteries I have needed to be charged overnight. The green and red light is a bit confusing when it’s first plugged in. Shows it’s receiving electricity but not charged yet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi rand. Good question. While charging, both lights will illuminate. Once the battery is fully charged, only the solid green light will remain on. When you remove your battery to charge it, the Ring app won’t show the device's updated battery percentage until the battery is reinserted and your device is reconnected to wifi. If the battery charge level is below 20%, it can take several hours to fully recharge. We invite you to reach out to our Community if any additional information is needed regarding your question.
