Yes it will BUT .. I have two (2) Spotlight Cams with solar panels . Each Cam has two (2) rechargeable batteries. After initial charging (took forever) and installation the batteries have performed well . The panels get 3-4 hrs of direct sunlight everyday . No issues after 60 days..

The camera is located at my son's house (20 miles away) The solar panel keeps the battery charged It made it through the overcast days of winter. It is nice not to know you don't have to worry about going outside to replace a battery.
