It does come with the charging cable but, not an adapter. I use the adapter that I use to charge my iPhone.

The cord that came with your rings orginial battery can be used to chsrge this battery, you can plug it into your computer or attach a plug and plug it into a wall socket. A cord came with your ring.

All the batteries come with an orange charger. All that is needed is a base. The charger is similar to phone chargers, it's that the base is not included. I hope this helps!
