Approximately how long does the battery last? null

it honestly depends on how much movement you have going on. I personally have to change them out after about a month and a half. mind you i have a big family who is constantly in and out of the house all day long and at different times during the day.

My daughter put up my ring doorbell two on December 1st, last night I came home & the battery was dead. I’m not home during the day & I my check it twice during the day & maybe twice in the evening. How do you get the battery to last longer, other wise it’s a waste of money.

It really just depends on the use of you battery .. but mine last 3 months

Mine must be garbage because it lasts about 2 days and I have very little activity. Got a new battery and it lasts 2 days as well. This thing sucks.

I installed it as a second battery a week ago and it's still at 100% but my first battery is still being used. My first battery only lasted about 3 weeks.

It really depends on your settings and how often you use the live view. I have only had my Ring2 for three weeks. The original battery went down to 30% after 7 days. I have had this for almost 2 weeks and it is only down to 60%.

I had mine for about 1 month and it’s at 56 percent at the moment. It was at 100 percent. I guess it can depends on how much activity Is going on as well.

I have a two spotlight camera's, one out front and one out back, both have two batteries in them. The one out front gets a lot of motion detected so each battery only lasts about nine days. However, the one out back which hardly gets any motion detected last much longer. Good thing they are able to hold two so it still functions while charging one of them! I have it set for normal motion detection, don't want to slow that down, might miss something!

Depending on your motion frequency it lasts from 2 weeks to one month
