Does the second (empty) battery compartment hold a spare battery? Can both batteries be inserted for additional battery compacity? null

You can put both batteries in one’s use it or use the other one but I just put one in and charge the other one and that one’s almost empty I change you can do it either way

Your Ring camera will work with 1 or 2 batteries, I have 2 batteries in mine

Good question! The Ring Spotlight Camera Battery device only needs one battery to work properly. However, if you want extended battery life or don't want to experience any downtime charging the battery, a second battery is available for purchase.
