My battery lasts a long time! Months in fact! I do not check it constantly, if I'm home I do hear it indicate "motion" when someone walks by or a car or mail truck comes by. I don't have many people ring the doorbell on a regular basis. It indicates motion when I go out to water plants in summer, or put on Christmas lights. I bought a second battery so that I can just interchange the original with the new when one or the other needs charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know how long the battery should last; it all depends on how frequent the motion sensors go off. But it should last longer than a day. You may have a defective one or it wasn't fully charge to begin.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The literature states it lasts for approx 1000 events. Even though you are not always looking at it, it is determined by the number of events. Any motion counts as an event. If you look at your history you will see how often it was activated. I bought a second battery I keep charged so I can replace. You can get them at Best Buy for like 29.00. It takes 6 to 8hrs to charge so nice having back up battery. You can adjust the sensitivity so it doesnt pick up every little motion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The battery life varies based on several things including your settings. I have my settings wide open so even moving trees set off the camera. So my battery lasts about 2 to 3 weeks. You may want to look at the scope and depth you have your camera set on to see if you can reduce battery consumption and extend its life.. Hope this helps.
