How does the spare battery charge? null

Just plug it to the provided cord and charger. I plug it in at night and it is done in the morning.

Either install the solar panel option and it will charge inside the camera. Or pop the battery out and charge with the wall charger just like a cell phone.

You get a charging cord with your battery. Connect via USB cord.

Via a USB cord that comes with the unit

The battery charges using the charging cable included with the battery. One end of the cable is USB micro and the other USB.

By plugging it into a power source using the provided orange cable

You remove and plug it in to charge or can attach a solar recharger. For doorbell if you wire it it gets charged by the low volt line slowly.

USB cable to computer or use as usb plug.

It comes with a usb cable That you can charge with basically any USB port.
