Hi Ringisfun123, The Ring Smart Lighting Floodlight Battery shines light above driveways, sideyards and high-traffic areas when motion is detected. This smart light is powered by four D-cell Batteries (not included) and will be effected by colder temperatures. The Ring Smart Lighting Floodlight Battery is IP66 weather resistant, and will operate under the following temperatures: -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C).
