- Answer yes there is a monthly fee. I think it is $10 per month but if you pay for the year it is $100 per year.

- Answer You cannot view the video on your tv as it is app based. Cell phone or computer viewing is available. There’s a delay at times but it’s mostly based on your work internet wi-fi connection.

- Answer I would say at least one month. And I love the fact that each camera can carry up to 2 batteries. The camera health will tell you the battery level % of each individually. And with 2 batteries it would be 2 months give or take, depending on recording activities. I am speaking regarding mine only. Depending on activity you might have them lasting even longer.

QuestionWhat’s the advantage to having 2 battery packs? There’s a place for a right battery pack and left battery pack but it only comes with one pack. I purchased an extra pack for each unit. Do both lights & camera run off one battery pack?

- Answer I first started with 1 battery. Now that I have 2, I find myself having to take out the battery to charge less than when I was only using 1.

QuestionI have a model 8SB1S7-WENO battery powered camera. I was looking at adding a solar panel. The solar panel from RIng indicates good for 2nd or 3rd generation only. Is there a way to tell from the model number if my camera is compatible with the panel?

- Answer Hi Ron. If you have a Spotlight Cam, you don't need to worry about which generation of Camera you have as the generation is referring to the Stick Up Cameras, which do not have the light on them like the Spotlight Cam. The Solar Panel is not compatible with the original Stick Up Cam, which has been discontinued.
