• No... It must be plugged in to an electrical outlet.

• Hello Rick, No. The Ring Spotlight Cam Wired plugs into a standard 3-prong outlet only. The Ring Spotlight Cam does come in a battery and solar option. Ring Spotlight Cam Battery can be connected to a Ring Solar Panel to keep the Ring rechargeable packs in side charged.
