Hi Vince, Thanks for reaching out. You are able to manually control your Spotlights through your free Ring app. Additionally, we do have a "Motion Scheduling" feature. The Motion Scheduling Feature allows you to schedule periods of time when you do not want to receive motion alerts. If, for example, you know that the trash is picked up every Tuesday between 7:30 and 7:45 AM, you may want to shut down motion alerts during that time. If you have any additional questions please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Kaitlyn R., Customer Satisfaction Specialist [email protected]
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would have to set the motion detection to not record that area in question. Otherwise it will turn on with motion from the street. And isn’t that why we have security as a deterrent for people walking down the street. Think of it as a nightlight to make the street walkers feel safe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The night vision without the spotlight is still pretty good.
