Hello. We appreciate the time you have taken to ask this question. Yes, the Ring Indoor Cam can be installed on a windowsill pointing outside. However, the camera may have a hard time detecting motion and you may get distorted images at night. To get proper motion detection, cameras should not be placed facing a window or in front of a glass door.
