Cassarole, that is a fantastic question! The device will have footage leading up to the point of damage on the device recorded for you to be able to review within the Ring application. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will if you installed a mini sd card in the side, but if they smash the camera then they could damage it too or just take it. The best way is to buy the Ring subscription which will then save it to the cloud. I have 8 cameras and pay $100 a year for all of them. I believe it’s $30 a year for one camera. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.With a Ring Protection Plan, the videos are stored to the cloud in real time. You will see the video up to the point the camera was smashed. Most likely you’ll see the video of the camera flying through air. I mount my cameras sufficiently high to discourage tampering.
