QuestionLooking into buying the 2 ring doorbells. I don't have an existing wired doorbell, does this mean I can't connect the doorbell to my existing wireless chime? I must purchase the ring chime to hear my doorbell ring in the house?

- Answer I strongly suggest you purchase the chime pro if you have an older home. The chime you use has to be able to be connected to your WiFi.

QuestionHow does it hold up against sunlight? Reason I ask is because the front of my house has no shade so it will the full force of the sun for several hours.

- Answer Ours faces east and gets the full morning sun. It has held up good. The video may take an extra second or two to adjust but the video is still clear.

- Answer Yes more than one person can have access, set up is very simple. Several options for chimes to include purchasing "ring" chime to wired. My house had a wired doorbell, my "ring doorbell" replaced the old push button. Set up was easy and it functions well.

- Answer Doorbell 2 runs on a battery. You do not need to wire it as you do with the other versions. This means you can easily move its location or take it with you when you move.

- Answer It should be recording as long as their is motion. Yes you can get another doorbell, just simply add it to your device list and you can give access to someone if like.

- Answer yes. If something or someone moves in the area you assign you are alerted. You can change the range in which it picks up movement. The alert is different for just a movement vs the doorbell ringing.
