- Answer Yes, the Ring Doorbell battery is fully charged, if you have existing doorbell already installed you can wire Ring direct, Next place battery in ( battery stays installed wired or not ) wired battery will stay charged and if not you will eventually have to charge again. Please note: battery will always be placed in the Ring Doorbell when in use. Good Luck

- Answer Velcro strips or double sided or glue tape but some one could take it. It comes with one battery which last thirty days and longer, it depends on the traffic.

- Answer Power provides a slow charge and activity uses up power quickly. Eventually it should catch up but I would recommend a full charge.

Ring Video Doorbell 2 is compatible with most mechanical or digital doorbell kits that use transformers between 8 and 24 volts AC. DC transformers are not supported. QuestionHi. If my home faces the west and the door area gets direct sunlight with no covered porch, will this product hold up? Is it weatherproof? Will it work at all in the sense of recording or would sunlight be too bright? Thank you in advance!

- Answer Hi Yaya05, We don't recommend placing your Ring doorbell where it can be caught by direct sunlight. That means you'll need to avoid placing the doorbell in a position where sunlight might confuse the sensor and ultimately result in false alerts. With that said, Ring products are weather resistant and will work in freezing temperatures and are resistant to rain. In general, Ring doorbells and Cam products with batteries are rated for operating temperatures between -5 to 120 degrees F. (-20 to 50 degrees C.). - Answer I used it with a iPhone 8 . It may be slower with a 4 and 6 but it’s all speculation. And yes if your is wired you will have the battery charged and after you lose power it will last a minumum if 30 days .
