Hi Vic, This is a great question, and I'm glad you asked. Many of our Ring products operate off of wifi, Bluetooth, or Z-Wave technologies. Our Ring Video Doorbells, such as the Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus, operates solely on wifi and does require a 2.4 or 5.0 GHz network to work. When there is a loss of power or wifi, your devices will be offline until power and wifi are restored.
