That depends on the detection setting you put it. I have one in my front and one in my back. I have it in semi sensitive with a reach to the driveway and it last 3-4 weeks. The backyard about 4 weeks. Neither of mine are hardwired

The Ring Video Doorbell 4 is Ring’s newest battery video doorbell with features including all-new color Pre-Roll technology, 1080p HD video, two-way talk, Advance Motion Detection, enhanced dual-band wifi and Quick Replies. With color Pre-Roll, users can see even more of what’s happening outside their front door. With an additional 4-second color video preview of each motion event, the doorbell will automatically start recording before users even receive an alert.
