I have no idea. I used optimum for my internet and it is working perfectly for me

The Ring Video Doorbell requires an 802.11 a/b/g/n wifi connection at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with a recommended minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps per device. Ring video doorbells and security cameras are intended to be used with a home wifi network, not a mobile device hotspot. Using a hotspot instead of your home wifi network may cause failed setup attempts or your Ring device to continually disconnect from wifi.
