• Yes, if the alert hits your phone quickly and if the people stick around for say 10 to 30 seconds. It can take a while for the connect to occur between the doorbell being pressed and the loading of the doorbell camera image on your phone. There is room for improvement with this but I don't think Ring has total control over the speed of this.

• Yes, you can talk to them through your phone. No matter where you are. I have seen this first hand.
