Contact ring with a police report they will replace it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ring will replace your doorbell if it's stolen, however, having said that.. it's possible ring could actually find your doorbell if it is re-installed some place else because like ALL Internet enabled devices that use TCP/IP, it has a hard-coded (MAC) address that cannot be changed. If someone reconfigured the Ring Doorbell and used it on their home network, it's quite possible Ring could find your Doorbell based on it's MAC address as all Ring products "phone home" and likely report their location, firmware revision, hardware address, etc. Ring does a pretty good job with their cloud platform and I'm betting they have all the information about every device that is online and connected to their cloud. I'm not sure what legal issues this might cause, and I'd be willing to bet it would require a court order to get the records released.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Each device has a globally unique MAC hardware address so Ring I would think could flag it as stolen if you told them..
