“It says the Ring Pro does not have a chime. Does that mean it does not chime when someone approaches or does that mean the doorbell function is disabled and there is no interior doorbell?”

• It runs on your existing door bell. Dont know why you would want a chime. Maybe if you were in the back yard or pool

• The Ring Pro uses your existing chime. Does not come with its's on. Works well with existing chime. If you had a new install and wanted something besides a phone notification you would have to purchase a separate chime.

• Ring will connect to your doorbell just need to install the connection to it but it wi work once is installed

• The ring replaces existing Doorbell buttons. The original door bell works fine. Your phone would work as a reminder since you get a notification and chime on your phone as well.
