If you want your Ring Video Doorbell to ring inside your household, there is an item called the Chime/Chime Pro that you can setup through the same app that will “ring” when your doorbell is rung. The Chime Pro is also a range extender for the Wi-Fi connection to any Ring items you may own.

In order to hear notifications from your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) inside your home, you can wire it to an existing compatible doorbell system, or you can connect it to a Ring Chime or your Alexa-enabled devices. To use a Ring Chime, simply plug it into a wall socket, connect it through the Ring app, and you'll be able to get real-time Ring device notifications anywhere in your home, even if you're not near your phone. You can also buy an amazon show device and connect it via your internet to show who is at the door and announce that there is someone at the door. I also have it connected to my cell so it let lets me know anytime it sees motion.
