In some home environments, like your own, it may be necessary to angle the Ring Doorbell away from adjacent walls, or large items obstructing the field-of-view, with a corner kit. You may find the corner kit for the Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release) available for purchase here: https://ring.com/collections/accessories/products/corner-kit-for-video-doorbell-v2 This accessory allows you to angle your device away from the offending object, up to 45 degrees. You can find more information on the Corner Kit and how to install this here: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003034406-Installing-the-Wedge-Kit-and-Corner-Mount-for-the-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2- I would like to offer you direct assistance, and invite you to reach out to our support team for any additional questions or concerns: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Get-in-Touch Thank you, Caitlin with Ring
