My ring doorbell has to be hardwired. I advised the representative who I scheduled the appointment with that it had to be hardwired and there was no existing doorbell. He said the installer was able to do the required work. The installer, Chris told me I needed an electrician. I am expecting a refund of the charges for installation. I expected this would be done without me having to request it
