Yes it can! You must drill holes and use plastic anchors. I just used the drill bit, plastic anchors and mounting screws that came with the ring doorbell itself although I think the wedge kit came with it's own. It is a good idea to use a bit of silicone sealer between the wedge kit and brick to keep moisture and insects from getting into the house through the wiring hole.

Brick or stucco would work too drilling holes first w mortar bits. The wedge kit greatly helped with false motion alarms from passing vehicles. I live on a busy street. Now I am having a problem with the ring app not chiming on my smart phone when the door bell is pressed. It only vibrates and sends a notification. Does anyone know how to fix that?
