“I already have the doorbell as well as a flood light motion sensor. It says that I need a ring bridge base station to use this, can I not just add it as an additional device with my subscription?”

Hi IZZI. Good question. The Ring Smart Mailbox Sensor requires a Ring Bridge in order for you to receive notifications. When connected to a Ring Bridge, you will receive a real-time notification in the Ring App or via a connected Alexa-enabled device whenever your Mailbox Sensor detects motion.
