Yes! They will work perfectly with any decent Wi-Fi signal that you can provide! I have even purchased a chime pro to plug it in as an indoor doorbell that helps to extend the Wi-Fi signal! My video and audio are absolutely outstanding!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is maybe. Satellite internet has a latency that reduces speeds by 50-70% on real-time work, i.e. gaming, VPN, streaming video, and cameras. That data is from HughesNet tech support. I’ve found WiFi enabled cameras useless with the satellite. My service cuts off 8-12 times a day, forcing my cameras to reconnect with the slowest speed imaginable. I’m canceling HughesNet and moving to a USB hotspot connected to a Surf SOHO.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My experience is yes and no; Yes if you are using HughesNet with the Fusion system. Satellite hybrid with cell integration to reduce latency. No if you are not - as mentioned both the 2 and 5 g networks without fusion will not support the video bandwidth required.
