The company realizes that this is can happen and will replace any units that are stolen. So make sure you register the product. The nice thing is that the video is uploaded to the Ring servers and is still able to be recovered and used to identify the thief.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Katie, Thanks for contacting me. Ring is mounted to a mounting bracket and secured with security screws so that it is not easily removable. If someone does attempt to damage your Ring doorbell, the motion-activated camera will capture a video of them doing so, and you'll be able to use that as video evidence for a police report. In addition, we offer Lifetime Purchase Protection for all devices purchased and will issue a free replacement if it's stolen or vandalized. If you have any more questions or concerns please feel free to write me at [email protected]. Kaitlyn R., Neighbor Satisfaction Specialist [email protected]

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Someone could physically rip the device off your door, but they'll be already caught on camera (as long as you have the motion sensors turned on). It also lights up when motion is sensed, so it should be a derrent to a burglar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like any security camera, there is always a chance of somebody cutting it off the mount. The great thing about the Ring doorbell, however, is there is an internal battery. You will be able to see the person removing the Ring, and then several weeks of whatever is in view of the ring.
