Please try again later.I have an external power socket at the front of my house so it would be quite easy to trip the power and then knock the cameras out (downstairs sockets are often on the same breaker as upstairs lighting). In my case I have a separate circuit in my consumer unit for my smoke alarms that does not get tripped by any other circuits - am planning to run the router and both cameras off this circuit in my loft to prevent this issue although I also considered buying a UPS which would also work for a short while.

Due to the fact that Ring is depended on being connected to your home WIFI network, In case of a power outage, your Ring device will automatically reconnect once power is restored.
