Hello Cherryblossom, Great question. No, the Ring Video Doorbell Wired does not need a bracket to install it. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Does not need a bracket. It mounts directly to the wall. If you are mounting to siding I would suggest you purchase a spacer to match the siding or make your own as I did. You can purchase the mounting spacer from Ring for 10 bucks.
